Anchorage Digital adds HYPE staking support on HyperCORE

Anchorage Digital has enhanced its services by integrating HYPE staking on the HyperCORE platform, expanding its institutional offerings in the Hyperliquid ecosystem. This addition complements existing HYPE custody services provided via HyperEVM. The staking service is facilitated by Anchorage Digital Bank and Anchorage Digital Singapore, which operates with a Major Payment Institution license. Notably, staking will also be available through Porto, their self-custody wallet. To support the validator infrastructure, Anchorage is partnering with Figment. With the launch of custody and staking across HyperEVM and HyperCORE, Anchorage aims to facilitate a broader spectrum of activities in the Hyperliquid ecosystem, enhancing access to DeFi through Porto and supporting custody for more HyperEVM tokens like Kinetiq. This initiative reflects a growing trend of bringing DeFi capabilities to institutional platforms, following similar moves by other major players like Crypto.com and Coinbase, aimed at simplifying access to yield-generating opportunities in the DeFi space.
