Coinbase Beats Q3 Forecasts as Transaction Revenue Jumps to $1 Billion

Coinbase reported $1.9 billion in revenue for Q3 2025, exceeding Wall Street forecasts and marking a 26% increase from the previous quarter. The exchange achieved a net income of $433 million, supported by $1 billion in transaction revenue, a 37% increase from $764 million last quarter. Analysts had expected revenue of $1.8 billion and earnings per share of $1.10, which Coinbase surpassed by reporting $1.50 per share. The growth was attributed to improved market conditions after a slowdown in Q2 due to macroeconomic factors. Additionally, Coinbase has diversified its income sources; it reported $355 million in stablecoin revenue, a significant increase from the previous year. Moreover, the company is exploring the launch of a token for its Ethereum layer-2 network, Base, indicating a significant development in its service offerings and future growth potential.
