Crypto Exchange Kraken Raises $800 Million at a $20 Billion Valuation

Kraken aims to utilize this new capital for global expansion into regions including Latin America and Asia Pacific, while also broadening its product offerings beyond cryptocurrencies to include various asset classes and enhanced trading tools. The firm is reportedly considering an initial public offering (IPO) in the near future, having previously raised just $27 million in primary capital before this round.
