Elon Musk's SpaceX Moves $133 Million Worth of Bitcoin

SpaceX transferred over $133 million worth of Bitcoin, totaling more than 1,200 BTC, on October 24, 2025. The move followed previous transfers earlier in the week, with the blockchain analytics firm Arkham Intelligence noting two transfers: one of 300 BTC worth $33 million and another of 915 BTC valued at $100.7 million. The new wallets receiving the funds do not appear to be linked to SpaceX. Prior to these moves, SpaceX held approximately 8,285 BTC, worth around $914 million. Despite a significant decline from a peak of 25,000 BTC in 2022, SpaceX remains among the top holders of Bitcoin. The motivations behind these recent transactions remain unclear, as SpaceX has not disclosed future plans for these assets. Meanwhile, Tesla, another of Musk's ventures, continues to hold a substantial Bitcoin treasury of 11,509 BTC, valued at over $1.27 billion.
