Inveniam Capital Partners Acquires Storj to Advance Decentralized Data Infrastructure
Inveniam Capital Partners has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Storj, a decentralized cloud storage provider, with the goal of enhancing its data and AI platform for private markets. The agreement allows Storj to operate as a subsidiary, maintaining its current pricing, leadership structure, and service contracts. CEO Colby Winegar will continue to lead Storj, while Ben Golub will join Inveniam’s board. This acquisition is part of Inveniam's strategy to integrate innovative decentralized technologies and capitalize on the growing intersection of decentralized infrastructure and enterprise AI. The integration aims to include Storj’s storage and computing capabilities into Inveniam's platform without disrupting existing operations. Inveniam’s CEO Patrick O’Meara emphasized the importance of Storj's technology in supporting their mission and highlighted the intention to incorporate the STORJ token into their ecosystem, enhancing its utility across platforms.
