Only crypto can stop the bad bots

Instead, bots—who can fill out surveys much faster for monetary gain—are taking over responses. This has led to up to 30% of online survey responses potentially coming from bots, undermining data validity. With 37% of all internet traffic attributed to 'bad bots,' the market research industry faces significant challenges. As a solution, some researchers propose utilizing AI designed to simulate human responses in place of actual respondents. However, this method may not capture real-time public sentiment effectively, especially concerning high-stakes decisions like presidential elections. An innovative approach like blockchain-based proof-of-humanity could enable the collection of genuine human opinions, enhancing the reliability of survey data. However, such technology needs to become more widespread and trusted to be effective.
