RWA Chain Plume Acquiring Dinero to Expand Institutional DeFi Yield Offering
Plume Network, focused on tokenized real-world assets, is acquiring Dinero Protocol to enhance its suite of institutional-grade yield products for Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), and Bitcoin (BTC). This strategic move aims to offer expanded decentralized finance (DeFi) yield strategies, including liquid staking. Dinero's ipxETH yield-bearing token, with $125 million in total value locked, will serve as a cornerstone for Plume's offerings. Since its launch in June, Plume has secured $360 million in assets and recently gained SEC approval as a regulated transfer agent, enabling it to handle tokenized securities on-chain. Co-founder Teddy Pornprinya highlighted the firm's commitment to bridging DeFi and traditional finance, particularly targeting institutional demand across the U.S., Asia, and the UAE.
