S&P Digital Markets 50 Index Will Gain Blockchain Verifiability Via Chainlink
Dinari is collaborating with Chainlink to bring the S&P Digital Markets 50 Index on-chain, a blockchain-focused equities index. Developed with the expertise of S&P Dow Jones Indices, which manages the S&P 500 and Dow Jones indices, this index will feature 35 U.S.-listed companies connected to blockchain technology and 15 major digital assets. The official asset list is not yet available. The index will be tokenized through Dinari's dShares platform, ensuring a 1:1 tokenization of the assets backed by regulated custodians. Chainlink will enable real-time pricing and performance data, providing a transparent on-chain benchmark. Gabe Otte, co-founder and CEO of Dinari, emphasizes the importance of trusted data and infrastructure in financial systems, stating that the collaboration with S&P Dow Jones Indices and Chainlink aims to deliver integrity and verifiability in this new digital asset landscape. Tokenization of equities marks a significant trend in merging traditional finance with cryptocurrency.
