Trump International Maldives Hotel Will Offer Tokenized Real Estate Investments
The Trump Organization has announced the development of the Trump International Hotel Maldives, a luxury resort featuring 80 villas, expected to open by the end of 2028. In a partnership with luxury real estate developer Dar Global, this project will pioneer tokenized real estate investments, enabling individuals to invest in the development process itself, rather than just purchasing after completion. Eric Trump stated that the initiative aims to set a new standard for luxury and innovation in real estate investment. With a location just 25 minutes from Malé, the resort promises exclusivity and sophistication for global travelers. Dar Global CEO Ziad El Chaar highlighted that this project represents a first in combining luxury, innovation, and technology in hospitality investment. Following the announcement, shares of Dar Global rose nearly 3%. The mechanism and timeline for investor participation have yet to be disclosed.
