Trader Turns $3K into $2 Million Overnight After CZ’s Post Sends Memecoin Exploding
A viral tweet from Binance founder sparks a frenzy around BNB Chain’s latest memecoin, creating a new crypto millionaire within hours

A crypto trader has turned a modest $3,000 investment into an astonishing $2 million profit within hours, thanks to a viral post from Binance co-founder Changpeng “CZ” Zhao. Blockchain data from Lookonchain revealed that the trader, identified only by wallet address “0x872,” was among the first to buy a newly launched BNB Chain memecoin called “4.” The token’s value skyrocketed shortly after Zhao mentioned it on X (formerly Twitter), triggering a wave of social media buzz and market speculation.
The trader’s holdings ballooned by over 650 times their initial investment, although they sold only a small fraction and still retain nearly $1.9 million worth of the tokens. The “4” token emerged from a BNB Chain phishing attack in which the hacker made a mere $4,000 profit. The crypto community quickly turned the incident into a viral meme, fueling massive trading volume and demand for the token.
According to data from CoinStats, the trader’s portfolio saw $1.8 million in unrealized profits in a week. Blockchain intelligence firm Nansen also reported that “smart money” wallets — those linked to experienced and profitable traders — have been actively buying the memecoin, making it one of the top three most-purchased tokens on BNB Chain in the past 24 hours.
This isn’t the first time memecoins have made instant millionaires. Earlier this year, traders turned small investments in tokens like Pepe into tens of millions of dollars. Zhao’s tweet about the “4” token, made to his 8.9 million followers, triggered another wild crypto gold rush — one that turned a few clicks into a multimillion-dollar fortune overnight.
